Please join us for history, muffins and coffee on Wednesday, July 28 at 10:30 a.m. for History Café at the Overland Trail Museum. Our special guest this month is Matt Vincent who will be talking about and telling stories from his book “Wild Times & True Tales From the High Plains ~ Kansas, Nebraska & Colorado”.
Vincent was born and raised in northeastern Colorado and graduated from the University of Colorado School of Journalism. In 1983 Vincent was named one of Colorado’s best feature writers by the Colorado Press Association. After retiring, Vincent poured his energy and talents into commercial photography and historical writing. Vincent is an active member of the Western Writers of America and credits his interest in western history to his parents, grandparents and great-grandparents.
History Café is a monthly event at the Overland Trail Museum and takes place in the High Plains Education Center. Admission is $3.00 and includes access to the museum following the program. Please call to reserve your spot – 522-3895.
