MCS resumes normal hours
The Peterson Military Clothing Store has resumed its normal Saturday hours of operation from 10 a.m.-4p.m.
ENT Bank reopens
The Schriever ENT Bank reopened Sept. 14. Social distancing and face masks are required to enter. The bank’s hours of operation are 8 a.m.-4 p.m. and is closed from 11 a.m.-noon for lunch.
President issues new tax memo
The President recently issued a memorandum to defer withholding, deposit and payment of certain payroll tax obligations. The Defense Finance Accounting Services will defer the Social Security employee deductions for all employees whose gross social security wages that are less than $4,000 in any given pay period through the end of 2020. The deferment will be taken out of wages January-April 2021.

Schriever hosts dorm Airmen meeting
For Schriever Airmen living in the Peterson-Schriever Garrison dorms, there is a meeting Sept. 30 from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. in the Bldg. 300, Auditorium. El Paso County remains at Stage II fire restrictions
El Paso County remains at Stage II fire restrictions. This includes Peterson and Schriever Air Force Bases and Cheyenne Mountain Air Force Station.
The following activities and items are now prohibited:
- Campfires in camping/picnic grounds
- Model rockets
- Public prescribed burning/burn permits
- Outdoor smoking
- Sale or use of fireworks
- Outdoor cooking (grilling, except propane)
- Outdoor fires

GRB comes back online
The Government Retirement and Benefits platform maintenance is complete and the platform is back online. The platform is now accessible at https://grbplatform.us.af.mil. Users must use their authenticated certificate to access the application.

TSP accepts signatures without notary
The Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board announced Thrift Savings Plan will temporarily accept certain digital signatures on forms without requiring notarized signatures. All forms signed electronically with personal identity verification or common access card credentials may temporarily leave the notary section blank. TSP will also accept handwritten signatures without notarized signatures at this time. Eligible participants using the digital signature process must use their unexpired PIV credentials or CAC to sign their forms before they are submitted to TSP.

Force Development Flight relocates
The Schriever Force Development Flight and Education and Training Center is now relocated throughout Bldg. 210 as their office is undergoing renovations.
To mitigate disruption to the shared customer service spaces that the Force Development Flight will occupy, members are encouraged to call ahead for all services, e.g. career assistance advisor, Education counseling, tuition assistance and GI Bill.
All Force Development Flight phone numbers will remain the same and will be transferred to their temporary locations.

Clinic suspends over-the-counter program indefinitely
The 21st Medical Squadron pharmacy has suspended the over-the-counter medication program indefinitely to ensure patients are receiving the appropriate level of care and assessment due to ongoing events.
