Virtual coffee session with the chief
South Fayette Township Police Chief John Phoennik invites the public to a virtual lunchtime session of coffee April 16 from noon to 1 p.m. Meet Chief Phoennik via Zoom.

Traffic detours and restrictions will occur until November for improvements to the intersection of Boyce and Mayview roads in South Fayette Township.
The first road closure will be Mayview Road, West Side (Cecil Side). The road will be closed until late July.
Farmers market volunteers
The Green Tree Farmers Market begins May 20. Volunteers are needed to help with various tasks from setting up, tearing down, or helping in between. Flexible volunteer times available. Community Service hours are available for high school volunteers.

Bunny car hop
South Fayette High School will host a bunny car hop 10 a.m.-2 p.m. March 27 from Participants can drive by and wave or take a selfie/group photo with the Easter Bunny. Easter Egg sale
The Ukrianian Orthodox Church in Carnegie will host its 53rd annual Ukrainian Easter Egg Sale 11 a.m.-4 p.m. March 28.
The event will feature more than 1,200 Pysanky Easter eggs, exquisite goose and ostrich eggs, hand-painted wooden eggs, hand-crafted items from Ukraine, basket raffles, door prizes, bake sale, pre-packaged kielbasa and butter-lambs. The kitchen will be open, serving a variety of Ukrainian foods for take-out or outdoor dining.
Three church tour discussions will take place at noon, 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. Join Rev. John Charest in the Church for a 15- minute talk. At the end of each talk, a Pysanky of $10 value will be raffled off to one of the participants in the talk.

Bunny Hop Trail
Registration for the Bunny Hop Trail is open for South Fayette residents and non-residents. One free time-slotted ticket is required per car. The Bunny Hop Trail will be held March 31.
Participants will be able to drive through Fairview Park, following giant Easter eggs along the way to find the Easter Bunny. This event provides children with a gift and a visit from the Easter bunny from the safety of their car.
There will also be a free virtual event held March 31 at 1 p.m. on Facebook Live from the South Fayette Township’s Facebook page.

In-Person Summer Playground Camp
Enjoy park playgrounds, crafts, sports, games and more at South Fayette Township’s nine-week Summer Playground Camp for children ages 5-12. The camp will be held from June 14-Aug. 13.
Masks and daily health screenings are required of all staff members and campers.
Campers can choose to attend half-day sessions, which are $10 per session, per child or full-day sessions, which are $20 per day.
