Four coming attractions in the Fox Cities will be ready to pour you a coffee or a beer this fall.

Lawlss Coffee

In downtown Neenah, Lawlss Coffee is setting up its espresso machines in the former Timshel Café spot, 124 W. Wisconsin Ave.

“We’re rushing to get the space ready by September 8, which is the Tuesday after Labor Day,” said Lawlss owner Stephan Witchell.

Lawlss will confirm its opening day information on its Facebook and Instagram pages.

In 2016, Witchell was one of the founding partners of Tempest Coffee Collective in Appleton. He left to start Lawlss Coffee in 2018 in Sturgeon Bay. This will be his second Lawlss location.

Bare Bones

In downtown Menasha, Bare Bones’ taproom aims to open in October. It leased the former Wreath Factory buildings at 222-226 Main St.

Bare Bones is a small craft brewery on the outskirts of Oshkosh. This new satellite location will be its first off-premises taproom serving its own beer.

Long-term plans include adding food and subletting part of the building to S&S Distilling for its future distillery.

Acoca Coffee

Acoca Coffee is a homegrown downtown Appleton coffeehouse on College Avenue, just west of the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center.

Acoca is in the midst of a major expansion and redo, with an estimated completion date in late September or shortly thereafter.

In the meantime, it’s pouring coffee in its new outpost inside Tandem Wine and Beer, 101 W. Edison Ave. in Appleton’s Flats area near the Fox River, and continues to deliver its beans and ground coffee.

Caribou Coffee

Caribou Coffee will make its Fox Valley debut this fall inside the Northland Avenue Festival Foods in Appleton.

It may be a just a counter in the store’s new food court, but Caribou fans don’t care as long as they can get their caramel high rises and campfire mochas.

Caribou Coffee is based in Minneapolis.
