March headliners, part 2: Previewing 55 events & deadlines coming up across NC

Here’s our exclusive wrapup of upcoming events happening across North Carolina in March. Included are the latest meetups, conferences, workshops, application deadlines and networking events happening in Asheville, Charlotte, the Triad, Wilmington and other parts of the state.

Application Deadline: 2021 Davidson Venture Fund

March 1

Davidson Venture Fund aims to invest $25,000 into innovative, for-profit ventures run by Davidson College students and recent alumni (2015-2020). Finalists will receive six weeks of coaching and mentorship before pitching to investors, entrepreneurs and an audience.

Application Deadline: NC IDEA SEED & MICRO Grants (Spring 2021)

March 1

The NC IDEA Foundation is offering two grant opportunities for startups this season: NC IDEA MICRO provides $10,000 project-based grants to entrepreneurs looking to validate and advance their ideas. NC IDEA SEED provides $50,000 grants to early-stage companies, giving them the boost they need to scale faster.

Mountain BizWorks PPP 2.0 Information Update
