New Jersey’s best coffee comes from Camden County, so says Food & Wine.
The national food site recently crowned the best coffee roaster in every state. New Jersey’s representative was Royal Mile Coffee Roasters, a South Jersey coffee company with locations in Haddon Township and Cherry Hill.
“Stylistically diverse but never dull, it’s a poorly kept secret that some of Philly’s best coffee comes from this slightly scrappy South Jersey roaster, now at it for nearly a decade,” Food & Wine wrote in its description of Royal Mile.
Royal Mile offers a plethora of coffee options, many with Philadelphia sports names. “Trust The Process” is a dark and light roast that tastes like chocolate and mixed berries. “Dallas Still Sucks” is a smoky, earthy and rustic dark roast. The “Gritty Jawn” is a medium roast with notes of brown sugar, walnut and apple.
Their classic offerings include “Vice Jawn Blue,” “Espresso Jawn,” “Breakfast Blend” and “Lucky Jawn” among others. “Vice Jawn Black,” a dark and light roast with notes of milk chocolate and berries, was Food & Wine’s suggestion to try.
Royal Mile Coffee Roasters products can be found across New Jersey and Philadelphia, including at Philadelphia-area Whole Foods and at Dulce Artisanal Pastry in Collingswood as well as at Royal Mile’s two locations.
