Nescafé Unveils New ‘Barista-Style’ Coffee Lines

Nestlé has expanded its Nescafé range with several new lines aimed at giving people the taste experience they expect from a coffee shop.

Nescafe_Gold_Blend_Roastery_CollectionThe first is the Nescafé Gold Blend Roastery Collection which offers two new premium instant coffees. The company claims the new collection gives consumers the opportunity to experience the “refined taste of expertly roasted coffee” from the comfort of their own home.

The new range is available in two blends ‘Dark Roast’ with “notes of rich dark chocolate and roasted nut” and ‘Light Roast’ with “notes of caramelised honey and toasted biscuit”.

Meanwhile, Nescafé Azera Craft Coffee is claimed to be the UK’s first craft coffee in an instant format. It was created in partnership with independent Manchester-based coffee roastery Grindsmith using a blend of speciality Arabica coffee, including the rare Quindio bean from Colombia.

The coffee is said to have “notes of cherry and chocolate” and is described by the Grindsmith team as “the best instant coffee we have ever tasted”.

Nescafé has also added a new ‘My Way Latte’ line to the Nescafé Azera range. It is said to be the UK’s ?first instant latte that can be customised to individual taste by adding a choice of milk whether it is semi-skimmed milk, almond, oat or coconut.

Sophie Demoulin, Marketing Director of Nestlé Beverages UK and Ireland, said: “With people spending more time at home than ever before, we are excited to introduce three new innovative Nescafé products to help people enjoy barista-style coffee from the comfort of their home.

“We know coffee on the go is very popular and one of the things people miss now we can’t go out and about. We think these great new products will give them that same enjoyment.”

Nescafé Gold Blend Roastery Collection, Nescafé Azera Craft Coffee, and Nescafé Azera My Way Latte are now available in Sainsbury’s with other major retailers to follow later in the year.
