Kilnwood Studio will be opening its door once again for pottery painting sessions on Tuesday, May 18.
Advance bookings can be made via the booking request form on the Kilnwood website or by calling 07870 234863.
Safety procedures will include sanitising of hands and the wearing of masks, and the rule of six, or two households will apply.
In the meantime Decorate at Home packs are still available and remain so after the studio reopens.
Owner Gaynor Robson said: “Customers have been enjoying this method of pottery painting, and with the spring just around the corner, and the relaxing of rules regarding meeting outdoors, this makes a lovely activity for the back garden with family and friends.”
Before May 18, collection and drop off will continue to be via an appointment system.
Gaynor has been making changes ready for reopening and told Uckfield News: “We haven’t been resting on our laurels. We have some lovely new pottery on offer, and eight new paint colours. We also have a new Nespresso coffee machine which means we can now offer even more delicious refreshments while visitors are enjoying their painting session.
“We have also installed a whole new till and stock management system, so we should never run out of our most popular lines.”
Gaynor added: “We are so grateful to all of our lovely customers for their support and can’t wait to open our door and welcome them into the studio once again.”
Now is the time to buy a new lawnmower if you need a new one this year because PP Estates is currently having difficulty replacing stock.
Owner Philip Eves said even UK manufacturers are having problems with their supply chains of parts.
He said his shop is looking well stocked at the moment, see in the photographs below, but that can quickly change.

There’s great excitement at Josefina because new clothes will be arriving this month.
UK-made soap bars are proving popular and Josefina owner Louise Beard says they make beautiful gifts, especially with a soap dish. “Of course anything with less plastic is better for the environment,” she added.
Josefina builds its own furniture and it can be produced in the size and colour you need for the space available.
There are chests of drawers, bedside tables, dressing tables and stools, shelves, benches, tables, and a Josefina-designed TV units. See two examples below.

Sausage and vegetarian rolls are a popular addition to the menu at Hartfields where the team are serving food and drinks outside again.

Ginny Taylor and Anna Lane are happy to be working with sports therapist Nicky Burn and are now hoping to find an holistic sympathetic fully qualified beauty therapist who would be willing to offer vegan-based products and services – rather than chemical-based products.
Ginny and Anna said the beauty therapist would be able to use their space on a self-employed basis. They have availability for three out of four weekends a month.
The Olive Sanctuary owners would then be able to offer promotion through their client base, social media, and access to their online booking system.
